New Release- Teaching Aleck by Muriel Garcia

Title: Teaching Aleck
Series: The Last Hangman MC #2
Author: Muriel Garcia
 Release Date: March 23, 2015

Aleck Sanford had everything growing up, absolutely everything, except for the one thing he and his sister desired the most: the love of their parents. After many years of emotional neglect, Aleck only understood the love between siblings, his parents certainly didn’t love them or even each other. How do you pick yourself up when everything around you falls apart? When the only person to love you has to leave?

Everything changed when he met Charline Dane. Still affected by his past, Aleck doesn’t understand or do relationships but he wants her. He just doesn’t know what to do about it. When Charline’s past catches up with her Aleck is forced to make a decision: fight or flight?

Will Aleck finally give into his feelings for Charline and save her before it’s too late or will their pasts get in the way? Will they both be able to overcome history and start anew?

For some reason I have not read The Last Hangman MC book 1, but lets talk about book 2 Teaching Aleck. I LOVED it! Muriel had my attention from the first few pages and I didn't set it down until I finished it. Aleck's parents didn't show love to him and his sister, and then after his sisters death he keeps everyone at arms reach. When he meets Charline he is instantly aware of her, and she pulls at his heartstrings. Charline is young and Aleck still cannot get close to her, after years apart Charline is back and she is going to fight for what she wants, and she wants Aleck.
This is a great read, it has the action and angst of an MC read and the heart and soul of a romance. Aleck and Charline are perfect for one another and I hope you one-click Teach Aleck and enjoy them as well.
